A sync engine built for real networks.
Naïve watch-party tools fight themselves: one person’s “pause” bounces back as everyone else’s “pause”, and the room drifts. Telepathy was rebuilt around that exact problem.
- Echo-suppressed events. Server-sent updates are matched and consumed, so a buffering player never triggers a feedback loop.
- Iframe-aware detection. Finds the real <video> even when sites bury it in nested frames.
- Graceful reconnects. Lost connections rejoin to current room state and replay missed chat.

Yes — watching with friends is free forever. No account needed to join a room.
Do we need the same subscription?
Each person plays from their own account on the streaming site. Telepathy only syncs the controls.
Is my activity private?
