Live · synced to the millisecond

Watch anything together, perfectly in sync.

Telepathy lives in your browser side-panel — keeping playback locked across the whole room, with live chat, reactions and private rooms. No uploads, no new tab, no “3, 2, 1, play”.

Free forever for friends · Private rooms · Nothing leaves your browser

Everything in one panel

A watch party that just keeps up with you.

No screen-share, no re-uploads, no awkward countdowns. Open the side-panel, share a room link, and press play — Telepathy handles the rest.

Frame-tight sync

Play, pause and seek propagate to everyone instantly. A smart echo-suppression engine means no ping-pong, no drift, no “are you at the same spot?”.

Live chat & reactions

React in the moment without covering the screen — chat threads, replies and emoji bursts, right beside the video.

Private rooms

Every room is invite-only. The link is the key — share it, and only your people get in.

Median sync delay

Event-driven, not polling. Actions land before you’d notice.

Works everywhere

One extension, any video site. Telepathy detects the player in the page — even inside embedded iframes.

Reconnect-proof

Drop off the train Wi-Fi? You rejoin exactly where the room is, and catch up on the chat you missed.

Three taps to showtime

From “let’s watch” to watching — in seconds.

Open the panel

Pin Telepathy and click the icon on any video page. The side-panel slides in next to whatever you’re watching.

Share the room link

Create a private room and drop the link in your group chat. Friends join with one click — no account required.

Press play, together

Whoever controls, everyone follows. Pause for snacks, rewind the twist — the room stays perfectly in step.

Under the hood

A sync engine built for real networks.

Naïve watch-party tools fight themselves: one person’s “pause” bounces back as everyone else’s “pause”, and the room drifts. Telepathy was rebuilt around that exact problem.

  • Echo-suppressed events. Server-sent updates are matched and consumed, so a buffering player never triggers a feedback loop.
  • Iframe-aware detection. Finds the real <video> even when sites bury it in nested frames.
  • Graceful reconnects. Lost connections rejoin to current room state and replay missed chat.
  • Private by design. Video never leaves your browser — Telepathy only relays tiny control signals.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Is it really free?

Yes — watching with friends is free forever. No account needed to join a room.

Do we need the same subscription?

Each person plays from their own account on the streaming site. Telepathy only syncs the controls.

Is my activity private?

Rooms are invite-only and the video stream never passes through us — only small play/pause signals do.
